Machvergil 5.0

It’s been a long time I know.  All I will offer up is an explanation:  My last few weeks have been very different than normal.  It messed with my rhythm, and while I have had this comic drawn for at least a week, the Photoshop time to make it didn’t manifest itself.  The good news I have is that the next two comics should come quickly.

Oh yeah, except I’m in the Red Alert 3 Beta… and also still trying to get one, if not two more level 70s before Wrath of the Litch King comes out.  That might delay me too since I am also, as you know, employed.

Speaking of employed: Latest completed project:  MSU Univesity Relations site Redesign!  Almost a year in the making!  Expect a write up on AdamClegg.com in the near future.

Alright, back on schedule!  If you don’t get the punch line here, maybe re-reading comic # 6 will help.

This one is titled Bolshevik Ice Cream.  It’s a Pando & L.A.N. Interlude comic while I continue to stall on what to do next with Mach & Vergil.

Also I’d like to state it is damn hard to think up new comics when all you can think about is how awesome D&D 4 is and how bad you want to play more of it.

Oh hey, look at that. As soon as I finished that post my writer’s block lifted. Looks like you get a comic today after all! I’ll be posting a full image of this comic in the Vergil Gallery so be on the look out for that.

I seem to be fighting a bit of writer’s block on where to go from here with the comic.  I keep coming up with an idea and then have it not pan out by panel 3.  Yes this has been going on since last week so rather than go through another Monday of silence I’d at least tell you guys that I’m trying.

That said that’s not to say nothing is new.  I’ve done quite a bit of work to the comics page, adding the ability to jump to any comic you want as well as bringing back titles to the comics (which means for the first time comics 36-39 have titles).  Feel free to try out the system and leave me a note on it.

Those of you hoping for more comics of naked Mach, sorry no dice. Didn’t want to run that into the ground until it got old.

Those of you hoping for the return of Hedgehog Mach… I’m not saying anything yet! Hee hee hee

Haven’t taken the time to work on the site lately. Been planning various D&D things, playing WoW and contemplating my professional future. I’ll keep you posted if anything changes.

New comic! Some of you may recall Mach’s Turkey Dancing stunt, but just in case you don’t I can jolt your memory for you.

I haven’t decided yet if I want to consider this a new comic or a continuation of the original. Right now things are set up as if we keep using the original (as you can see when you visit the More Comics link as it takes you to an archive that includes the original 35 comics… except for 21 which is still broken… will get on that), even though in my mind this is a significant enough jump in time to be as if it’s a new “season” of the machvergil story, if not a whole new story completely.

Still have the comments and the forum up in case you want to share your thoughts. Remember your old machvergil.com 4.0 (mambo site) log in doesn’t work here so you will have to re-register.

And while I’m sure everyone reading this already knows, here’s the definition of Anthropomorphic.

As you can see the new comic script has been moved to the subpage as suggested.  Since it’s not working on the header, I think the plan will be to go back to work on a new template style with a VG cats approach where there is a banner for the site and then some small graphic saying “click here to view latest comic.”  I’d really rather not manually have to make that so I might go for the Penny Arcade approach and just leave it up to you to click the “comic” button to see the comic.
