Re:Free Games Challenge 4: Alien Clones - 2005/08/17 08:59 I'm going to establish a new rule now for the sake of keeping scores tracking easier.

"If you are playing the game severals times in one sitting, please only post the single highest score of the sitting rather than posting each score that was better than your last post."

I was guilty of this last challenge too, so please don't think I'm picking on you St00f.

My thinking behind this is that when the challenge is over and I have to sort through the posts to figure out who had what scores, it's a lot easier when we don't have three posts by the same person all within 10 minutes of each other.

So, just to clairify, say I was to play Alien Clones right now and I got three scores: 29155, 32157, and 41526. Rather than make a post as soon as I get 29155 (Higher than my last score), I would wait until I'm done with my run and got 41526 to post.

However, let's say I was to post that 41526 and two hours from now I played again and got a 50,000+ score, and no one has posted since then, I am still allowed to post my new score 50,000 score.

Does that make sense?

Re:Free Games Challenge 4: Alien Clones - 2005/08/17 10:47 Hey, not a problem. I didn't know if I was going to get another run at it, so that's why I posted the first one. That's what happens when you use a work comp, and you're not sure when peeps are going to walk in ^_^;;; You’re what keeps me believing this world’s not gone dead

Re:Free Games Challenge 4: Alien Clones - 2005/08/17 11:06 Whew, lots of things were conspiring against me on this one...the airline lost my mouse, and then 128mb of RAM just stopped detecting and so my computer became extra sluggish. I did manage a 60k+ score, but for some reason, every graphics program I had refused to save it... Oh, and it seems I had somehow gotten some kind of virus. Sooo...a few tweaks and prods later....

Well, it seems like either people are about having the same luck I am with the game (which is none at all), or things have slowed down since it's almost move in week. Let it be known that I shall most likely not be a contendor, as my scores keep dropping everytime I play............. -_-;;
