Okay so the short of what's going on is Tomorrow I start moving in my new place.  Thursday I have off work to complete the move.  I will not have internet at my new location until Monday the 13th (Go Go Comcast...)  As such you will only hear from me online at all if I am at work (which means you'll only see my @work IM name.  If you need it, please contact me invidually as I don't want to release it here).

As things change I will update this space or post forum topics.  I will probably make such updates from work.

RPGs stay in, now the movie poll PDF Print E-mail

Well it seems that we like our RPG video games around here.  By the time I'm taking down this poll I've even renewed my WoW subscription have a pretty little paladin I'm working on that is the most fun I've had soloing that game in a long time.  Still want a level 20 A/Mo someday... hopefully to plow through Eye of the North with...

Next up I'm gonna start round one of the movie poll.  If you see a movie you want on the poll in this round, go ahead and reply to this post and let me know.  After this go, the three highest votes will advance to the final round and we'll declare that one the winner! (Props to Dominion for the suggestion).

Great Summer for Movies! PDF Print E-mail
Written by Adam (Vergil)

I have got to say I can't remember the last time this many great summer movies came out in one summer.
  1. Spider Man 3 tried to tell too much in too little time, but was still a blast.
  2. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End: Has 1,001 things I can list wrong with it, but I still had a total blast watching it.
  3. Transformers blew me away with how good it actually was in like, every way.  There was an action movie there for almost every type of action movie fan.
  4. Live Free or Die Hard, which I just got back from was pretty much the perfect Bruce Willis movie yet somehow, new, refreshing, and awesome.
As somebody who is not normally a fan of movies, I have to say I am very impressed.  Perhaps this is a sign of some sort of turn around for the medium?  Or perhaps it is the IPs in play here that really lean to the success?  Who knows, who cares, I am having fun!
